Trip to the USA for CHA

We are back safe and well from our trip to the USA for CHA – the largest Craft and Hobby trade fair.

We arrived late afternoon to our hotel so quick change and out to eat – trying to keep awake as long as possible.  We did really well and managed to stay up until 10:30pm – mainly because the wait at the restaurant was 40 minutes but it was well worth it!  Would highly recommend Bubba Gump if you like seafood.

Up early on Friday morning to start setting up the stand.  It is not easy when we take everything for the stand and show in our suitcases.

The floor was marked with our stand number and company name!

The stand has poles and drapes – this years colour was red and white – not as bad as some areas which were emerald green or bright yellow!!  Anyway Sue had a brilliant idea for the banners for the top of the stand and we tied them on with ribbon and they looked wonderful – dont you think.  This was the Candi side …..

and this was the Just to say Sentiments side ….

We had pop up banners too with details of the products on, boards to display all the Candi varieties and, of course, some gorgeous samples …..

This was the first time we had taken the Sentiments to America and they went down a storm – everyone loved them …..

These are some gorgeous lollipops that Marie and Kay made for us as displays for the tables featuring the new varieties of Candi.  They were very eye catching and created lots of wonderful comments – the shop owners thought they were great.

Thank you so much Marie and Kay for all your hard work making them for us.

Check back for more from CHA tomorrow!
