Here we go again! First of all we have a winner – congratulations to Hazel who said “Great frames and samples. I think the mystery person is Karen. x”. The mystery person was indeed the uber talented Karen Hayselden! Hazel, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and address and Sonya will arrange for your prize to be sent to you.
Now here are some pictures of this month’s mystery person. Julie Cassidy has very kindly helped me and made a gorgeous card using Pretty Little Prints paper, ribbon and the elephant template.
Here are my projects – first of all I made an 8 by 8 card using Bohemian papers and flowers with a frame from the White Embossed Pad. This pad is in the sale so don’t miss out! The wording was stamped using Distress Ink and Printer’s Blocks Stamps.
Here is a close up of one the flowers – these flowers are easy to make and look so effective.
Next up I used a frame from the Pastel Distressable Pad. I sanded the frame lightly and then used an Ink Duster to add Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink to it. I attached a Curly Whirly flower to the corner and then sprayed both the frame and the flower with gold Spray and Sparkle.
This is a close up of the flower. Curly Whirly flowers and the Printer’s Blocks stamps are my favourites at the moment until I get my hands on the January Privilege kit. If you haven’t seen it yet have a look here I know it is going to be very popular so don’t miss out.
Who do you think this month’s mystery person is? Post a comment with your guess and if you are correct you could be the winner of a selection of yummy scrummy goodies from Craftwork Cards – good luck!
