Al Fresco Accordion Card

I’ve had another chance to post this month and came up with this project inspired by a Sizzix die I came across whilst browsing for cards to include in an upcoming ‘cards that move’ class. I adapted the concept and made my own template, and decorated it up with Al Fresco papers.
Based on an A4 sheet of 300gsm white card, I’ve added panels of the Al Fresco paper at the top and bottom. I’ve added three pieces of Candi down each outer edge as this won’t interfere with the opening/closing of the accordion.  More panels decorate the inner accordion, topped with white panels and black and white photos of street parties… of course you can personalise this to your recipient. At the bottom of the main panels are some home cut badges (from the strawberry pun net sheet) with Candi centred e-cut daisies and some CWC sentiment panels. I’ve edged everything with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. It’ll all fold flat assuming you’ve not added foam pads to mount anything on the centre two panels, and will fit into a DL envelope.
Not sure if it’s a pop-out, a slider or a pull-out card, but definitely a kinetic card that adds flair to the Al Fresco papers (if that’s even possible!).
Happy crafting,
Neil

Great dimension and yet it still folds flat – fabulous.

Wow! what a cool idea. The papers and embellies are gorgeous and make it something really special. Folds flat too, that's an added bonus. Pat x

Very impressive! I would love to try it, but I can't work it out. How did you do it? Lizzy
