Today is a very exciting day as it’s time to introduce our new Design Team members you!
We can’t stress enough how much we have enjoyed looking through everyone’s applications and it was amazing to see how much love and effort goes into each and every card. We genuinely appreciate all your hard work. Thanks so much to everyone who got in touch with us! It was a very difficult decision to make.
Our new Design Team members will join our other talented crafters and demonstrators in making fabulous samples for TV, the blog and our store. So who are they?
Please welcome Cathy Clowes to our Design Team. She is a keen blogger and an avid colourer. We loved her very neat and simple style and the way she uses the die cuts to make her cards extra special! Cathy has been crafting for 5 years now and the first collection she bought from us was the Festive Christmas chalkboard collection.
We’d like to introduce to you the wonderful Maxcine Etherington who is a regular attendee to our workshops and has a crafting addiction! Her cards are very stylish and we loved her attention to detail. She has been a long-standing follower of the Craftwork Cards brand and this is reflected in the range of papers she’s used.
Our next addition is Nicky Gilburt whose work, quite literally, stood out! We loved her clever paper engineering to create pop-up cards as they really create an impact. Nicky is very active across social media and on her blog and she is hoping to take her love of card making to a new level by joining our team.
We’d also like to introduce you to the talented Samantha Harrison! Samantha got her parcel to us just in the nick of time and we were blown away by her designs. Samantha has always been very crafty and when she’s not producing these pretty cards, she’s working as a childminder. Her style really stood out to us and we’re delighted to welcome her to the team.
Please welcome Pascale Mitchell to the Design Team too! You may already be familiar with Pascale’s work as she has featured on the Julie Loves blog posts and is very active across social media. She really enjoys using our USB stick to create craft projects and has been crafting now for the past 11 years.
Our next Design Team member is Sue Smith who has a striking and fresh style! We really liked the creative ways she considers composition and her use of inks to add her own touches. Crafting is Sue’s passion and she likes to use a range of techniques and mediums from machine-stitching to calligraphy. She loves clean and simple and shabby chic styles.
We’d also like to introduce Samantha Wade who loves mixed media and paper crafting. We felt her style is really unique and pretty! It has a real shabby-chic feel to it. Samantha is also an active blogger and hairdresser. Samantha is another long-standing fan of the Craftwork Cards brand and finds the kits very inspiring.
Last but not least, it’s the wonderful Jennifer McKibben! Jennifer’s crafting journey has only just begun yet she is already producing some amazing pieces. We noticed Jennifer’s work on the Craftwork Cards Facebook Fan Page and we simply couldn’t resist asking her to join our team. Jennifer began crafting in November last year when she decided she would make some Christmas cards and hasn’t looked back since.
Once again, thank you so much to everyone who applied! The talent was exceptional and it was a tough decision to make. We truly appreciate your continued support.
Welcome to all our new members! We’re really excited to start working with you and can’t wait to see how you’ll bring our collections to life.
